D2D - Disc to Disc Mastering System

Glass-mastering CD input system designed for production environments.
The StageTech Disc To Disc Mastering System ­ the first stand-alone glass-mastering CD input system that requires no modifications to the glass-mastering system and makes a complete replica-clone of both information and sub-codes with a source read after read error correction facility.

• Full integration with no hard- or software modification of the glass-mastering system by providing full emulation of the Sony PCM1630/DMR4000 U-matic system.
  
• Built-in switching makes it possible to keep the existing U-matic system and switch between the two systems with the flip of a button only.
  
• Highest audio and data transfer integrity with full error detection and correction (including read after read) during the mastering session.
  
• Complete transfer of all subcodes to the glass-master, including ISRC-codes and all status-bits.
  
• Short set-up time improves glass-mastering system productivity. The PQ-scan (ETOC-scan) can be performed in advance before shifting the glass-master in the master recorder.
  
• Easy handling (almost like any ordinary CD player), operator-friendly and easy to interpret the test-results.
  
• Modular internal architecture supports easy servicing and upgrading. Industrial PC-system and highest quality electronics provides maximum reliability and minimum downtime.
  
• Selected Philips CDM-4 CD-mechanism caters for excellent playability, also for worn, damaged and less good burned CD-Ršs.
  
• Standard 4U, 19" rack-mount. unit providing full CD and CD-R verification. Fully automated verification of Table of Contents, PQ data and Error rates combined with digital audio playback.
