QA Series- Compact Disc Analyzers

A Quality Analyzer for small as well as major installations providing full control over the manufacturing process of CD´s. Different areas in the production chain from checking CD-R masters for the Glass mastering to analysing replicas in the production line is covered. The QA1 is the basic analyser with the possibility to upgrade to other models in the QA Series. Fully automated verification of Table of Contents, PQ data and Error rates combined with digital audio playback are some of the features. The QA2 is the second generation Analyser in the QA Series. With basic HF measurement and all the features from the earlier model QA1, this is the most cost effective CD Analyser in its category. • The QA Series Analysers are affordable, easy to use CD and CD-R verifiers with applications in CD replication, CD-R duplication, Glass-Mastering and Archiving.
• CD's are checked against the CD Specifications. Parameters include TOC and PQ information, Status bits, UPC/EAN and ISRC data, full Error statistics and Basic HF parameters (QA2 only).
• All CD formats tested, including: CD-Audio, CD-ROM, CD-ROM XA, CD-I, Video-CD, Photo-CD, CD Extra, and any combination of mixed mode, multisession and ready (hidden track) formats.
• The self contained 3U mount unit houses a specially selected optical chassi for maximum repeatability and accuracy. This means that the user will always get the same result in the same tester or in any other unit in the QA Series. Control of the dedicated hardware is handled by an internal PC. Software and format upgrades are easily accomplished via the built in floppy drive.
• Outputs are provided for printer, alarm, headphones, analog and digital audio. Optional is Ethernet network connection.
• Parameters for configuring the Display, File handling, Printing, Auto functions, Warning and Failure Error levels and DDP file generation can all be set using the accompanying Windows based Setup software. Error statistics can be output to a printer, to a network or to a diskette.
• An optional Windows based Control & Display software, VisionOne, is available for installation on a separate PC, communicating over RS-232 and displaying graphs, tables and TOC/ETOC info on a VGA-screen as well as providing high-resolution print-outs. A more elaborate version, SplitVision, is giving the possibility of split testing with up to 8 testers divided in up to 4 different groups, each group handling a maximum of 4 testers.
